A Tangled Web

Recently I finished the latest Mike Martin book, A Tangled Web, which was the 6th in the Sgt Windflower mystery series.   Mike is a Canadian author, born in Newfoundland and now living in Ottawa.  Sgt. Winston Windflower, a Cree from northern Alberta, is an RCMP officer stationed in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. Before starting A Tangled Web I re-read the first 5 books to reacquaint me with the story, characters and location. Beneath the Surface

Beneath the Surface is the third book in the Sgt. Windlower mystery series set in Newfoundland and written by Mike Martin.  This book sees Sgt.Winston Windflower get transferred back to Grand Banks at the same time his girlfriend Sheila is released from rehab after a terrible vehicle accident (in the second book).  Windflower is a Cree from Alberta who is stationed in Grand Banks with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police).

  I keep track of my books at Goodreads, but I’m still a pencil and paper person and love list making.  So my tracking system for taking to the library is a little black book (4.5 x 6.5 inches)  with a page for each author and a list of the books I’ve read.  This is a little binder with rings that open and shut so pages can be added.  The author pages are all alphabetical and the current ones I’m reading have a little stickie on the edge so they can be found easily.  The books in the series are listed
