The Big Apple

Do you love apples?   How about apple pie?

You will be in apple heaven when you visit The Big Apple by Colbourne, Ontario.

This is the big apple visible from highway 401.  We were travelling between Belleville and Cobourg and I took this photo from the van window.  On our way home we stopped for a visit.

There are signs galore to share with Signs, Signs.

There is lots to keep the kids occupied … a petting zoo, a train ride, miniature golf, a go kart track, and lots of space to run around.

There is all sorts of things inside … delicious baking, snacks, hot food, gifts … and lots and lots of apple pies to purchase.  There is a large viewing area to watch the pies being baked and if you buy something to eat in the store there are  lots of tables by the windows to sit and enjoy a snack while you are there.

You can’t resist leaving without an apple pie to take home.

If you aren’t down in my part of Ontario there is now a second Big Apple store in the Muskoka region just north of Barrie.

Out and About shares more places to visit.
