Winter Delights- Whimsy

Whether we like it or not, winter is here till almost the end of March.  We moan about it, we curse it, we hate it but we should be looking for the delights of winter. It’s time to be more positive and less negative, so over the next few weeks I’m going to share winter delights captured through my camera lens. When those big fluffy flakes of snow land they turn everything into a white delight.   I try to leave some of the garden whimsy outside all winter just so I can appreciate what it looks like with snowy hats on.

Out and About During March

March came in lovely and March is leaving with a rainy day.  In between the weather was changeable from ice storms to snow to rain and some nice warm days.  We took advantage when we could and got out and about enjoying ourselves – from walking to attending different events. We went to the second Seedy Saturday for this year.  This one was held in a school in the next town over and was smaller than the first one we went to but it was just as interesting. Getting Out and About

February has come and gone with very changeable weather.   We try to get out and about when the weather is nice and of course the camera is always a companion. One of the places we drive by and frequently have to stop is the traffic lights in Frankford.  Right on the corner is an old building with a lot of history. It was originally a Molson Bank.  This was a bank founded in Montreal 1855 by the sons of John Molson, who founded the Molson brewery.  Did you know Molson was in the bank business as well as the brewery
