A Birdfeeder Christmas Ornament
Cut 2 pieces of 7 count plastic canvas, one piece is 10 holes by 10 holes, and the other is 14 holes by 14 holes. Stitch each piece any pattern you want, I used red yarn for the outer 2 rows and edges and white yarn for the inside rows. Add a loop of yarn to the middle of the largest piece - this becomes the top of the feeder. Fill a small plastic cup (available from craft stores or stores like Walmart) with birdseed. With a hot glue gun fasten the cup to the middle of the smallest piece of plastic canvas. Fasten the larger piece to the top. Add a small plastic bird to the bottom corner.
