Grocery bag holder Make a holder for all those plastic grocery bags. You need a piece of fabric about 16 inches wide by 22 inches long, and 2 pieces of thin elastic. At each end sew a hem with enough space to thread a piece of elastic through. Sew the side seam and then thread the elastic through the hems at both ends. Add a handle to hang the bag holder. You add the plastic grocery bags to the top end of the hanger and pull them out at the bottom as needed.
