A Cup of Friendship Tea      Following the directions below, cut 2 mug shapes from 7 count plastic canvas.  Stitch with any design you want to.  Join both pieces together around all sides except the top.  Stitch each top separately.  Tuck a tea bag inside or a single serving package of coffee and add one of the poems to the handle.  You could even tuck a gift certificate from a coffee shop inside.  Send this to a friend that isn't feeling well, to someone you haven't seen for a long time, or to family members far away.  It is also good for Mother's Day or Valentine's Day.

Spice Tea Mix 2 cups sugar 2 cups Tang 3/4 cup instant tea 1 small package lemonade mix 1 small 3 oz. package orange jello 1/4 tsp. allspice 1/2 tsp. cloves 2 tsp. cinnamon Mix ingredients together and store in a glass jar in a dry place.  For a delicious tea drink use 2 to 3 tsp. mix in a cup of hot water.     Friendship Tea 1//2 c instant tea powder 1 cup sweetened lemonade powder 1 cup orange-flavored drink mix (Tang) 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1 tsp. ground cinnamon In large bowl, combine all ingredients.  Mix well and store in an airtight container. To Serve:  Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of mix in a mug.  Stir in 1 cup of boiling water.

Offer a simple gift of friendship. 
These things can be put in pretty cup and saucer.
Tie a bow on the handle.  Wrap in cellophane.
