Gazing Balls

Convert an old bowling ball into a gazing ball. Using glue (such as No More Nails, Crafter's Goop, Silicone II) cover the bowling ball with flat sided gems (purchased at craft stores or dollar stores).
When covered in gems, grout the whole ball and let dry. Be sure to use a waterproof grout so the gazing ball can be placed outside. You will probably have to remove some of the grout that has stuck to the gems on the ball. Place in garden and enjoy. All garden ornaments are taken inside over the winter. |
