Make a planter out of some old boots. These old boots had splits in them and holes in the bottom. I enlarged the splits with some scissors. After filling the toes with potting soil I added a few rocks to the heel of the boot. This will weigh them down a bit so they won't tip over so easily. Fill the rest of the boot with potting soil and add your plants. I filled mine with hens & chicks as I have an over abundance of them in my gardens.
This year a pair of duck boots got a leak in the bottom so I converted them into planters. |
