On a lovely sunny Sunday last week we stopped at the Reid’s Dairy pond again to get more photos of the water birds there. The reflections were lovely on the still water. This time there were other birds besides the green heron.
The cormorant was there perched on an old stump. It looks like he has his black rubber wellies on.
The green heron was on a different perch this time.
This duck was about to take off with a very determined look in its face.
There were Canada Geese, mallard ducks, a couple of young merganser ducks, the green heron and the great blue heron.
I didn’t get any reflections of the great blue heron as he was too busy on the small island preening himself.
