Snowfolks & Snowflakes

~ My decorating ideas are about snow this week.  Snowfolk and snowflakes.  The links will take you back to the original posts. The snowman hat makes a cute table centrepiece or display item.  It is easily make from a large can, some cardboard, some spray paint and ribbon to decorate. This year I made a mini snowman hat using a recycled k-cup.  It turned out to be a cute ornament for the tree as it is about 5 cm high. Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Many parts of the country have had lots of snow and will probably have a white Christmas.  In our part of Ontario we have only had a few flakes now and then so a white Christmas isn’t anticipated.   But you never can tell with Mother Nature.  There is still time. Inside Snowflakes

Snow is pretty when it covers the trees and shrubs but it is prettier when it is inside decorating some red dogwood branches.  I’m sharing a simple pattern made with plastic canvas (clear or white) and some white yarn (plain or sparkle). These simple snowflakes are nice to decorate the Christmas tree, hang in the window, or use as part of your winter decorations.
