Hanging up the Towel

With the renovation in my kitchen complete I don’t seem to have a place to put up a towel rack for drying tea towels, except for hanging them over the oven handle.  So I dug through the craft cupboard and found a holder for towels I had made a few years ago.  It fastens over the handles on the drawers and easily holds the towel. Not that I want towels hanging all over the kitchen, but just for a short while after drying the dishes.  In the nice weather I have a make do line on the railing of the

CAL Bunting

In my never ending quest to use up odds and ends of yarn I participated in a CAL – crochet a-long – a little while ago.  This was hosted by My Merry, Messy Life as a Valentine CAL.  As I didn’t use Valentine colours of reds, pinks, white etc mine doesn’t look very Valentiny (is that a word)! Quick and Easy Cup Cozy

I’ve been craf-tea with this little pattern … actually I was craf-tea before Christmas but just never got around to sharing it. It just took a little bit of time and a little bit of yarn to make up this cup cozy.  Recently the coffee/donut shop here in Canada started using these brown paper cup cozies on their cups of tea.
