The Tea Stacker

Have you seen my tea stacker?  I bought it awhile ago with a gift card from Chapters.  I love gift cards as I can go out and select something that I really like.  This tea stacker caught my eye as soon as I walked into the store.   They must of know I was coming!

It is my favourite shade of green and it just seemed to fit in with the teapot totem that I made for the garden.  The one in the garden is glued together as each of the teapots had something wrong with it … a crack, it leaked, the lid got broken etc.

This tea stacker comes all apart to reveal a teapot, a cup and saucer, a milk jug and a little sugar pot.

It’s all set up in the gazebo just waiting for me to have some tea and observe the garden.  Obviously the above photos were taken last summer.  The gazebo is packed away for the winter.  Now I have my tea sitting by the fire.

Over the holidays while moving things around to set up my Christmas village, I moved a lot of my favourite teapots onto one set of shelves.  I kind of like it there and will leave it that way for awhile.  Well, at least until I do another major dusting!  At the top of the shelf you can see the teapot totem that was brought inside for the winter.  The tea stacker fits nice onto the top shelf along with some other green teapots, some mini pots and brass candlesticks that belonged to one set of my grandparents.  I’ll share more of my teapot collection over the next little while.

Now, what tea should I make?  I got some new varieties at Christmas … Peppy Peppermint, Egyptian Camomile, Bella Coola and Berry Mania.

I’m sharing with Green Day

It's lovely to meet you, let's keep in touch.

I love your teapot collection! It looks great all gathered together in the shelves. The tea stacker is really cute, although I take all my tea black so the cream and sugar wouldn’t get used. :) I hope you have a great weekend drinking tea and keeping warm. Blessings, Pamela

I don’t use cream/milk or sugar either Pamela. I sometimes use the jug to put my tea ball in so it doesn’t drip all over the place.

Oh how cute ! I collect tea pots as well but the English cottage style ones . I did a post of them I think it was last year . I go to antique and thrift shops hunting for them ! There is a little tea house owned and run by a older British couple in the small town of Sparta not far from us that has hundreds of tea pots of all kinds it is awesome but there is one she doesn’t have that I do and it comes straight from England hehe ! Nothing like a pot and sup of tea the best drink in the house I think ! Have a good day !

That little tea shop sounds like a wonderful place to visit. If I’m up that way I’ll have to hunt for it.

I like it Linda, especially since the teapot appears it will hold a couple of cups of tea. It’s a nice shade of green too.

Isn’t it cute?! Shades of summer…
I love your header. I go between wanting to see summer photos and then trying to embrace the winter shots. More shovelling to do this morning! More on the way. It *is* good exercise.

Someone had fun designing that tea stack. All of those items and so little shelf space needed to house it!

I’ll have a cup of camomile tea. Lovely discovery.

The tea stacker looks fun but for a pot that size 2 cups would be helpful I guess. I like the idea of stacking teapots but I just don’t have the room.
