A useful scrubbie that includes a dish cloth attached to it.  This pattern is ©Crafty Gardener and my not be sold or posted on any other site. Please share the link so others may visit.

You need:

-nylon scrubbie purchased from dollar stores
-dish cloth yarn
-tapestry needle
-5 mm crochet hook

The first thing to do was stitch with a tapestry needle and some yarn all around the outside of the scrubbie.  I found stitching around the middle made it easier to start the crochet.  It was a challenge to get the crochet hook through the scrubbie.  This way I had the foundation row to work from.

Do 30 single crochets into the stitches around the center of the scrubbie.
After doing a round of sc, join with a slip stitch.
Row 1 – ch1, sc in next 12 stitches, (2 sc, ch2, 2 sc) in next stitch, this forms the point of the cloth, sc in next 12 stitches
Row 2 – turn, ch 3, dc to center point (ch 2 space of previous row)(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in this stitch, dc end of row
Row 3 – turn, sc to corner (ch 2 space of previous row) (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc) in corner stitch, sc in each stitch back to top

Repeat row 2 and 3 3 more times. On the last row of sc go across the top of the cloth as well to finish it off neatly.
