Last weekend we visited the Amazing Graze Alpaca farm in Stirling along with my daughter and two grandchildren. It was a gorgeous Autumn day for wandering around the farm and seeing the alpacas and of course buying some of their wonderful yarn.
Here we are walking along (taken by Amazing Graze Alpaca farm). This was towards the end of our visit as I’ve got the brown bag filled with yarn 🙂 I’ll share my knitting project in a later post.
The alpacas didn’t mind being the centre of attention. You just want to reach out and touch their fleece.
They looked up when you approached.
This is Victor, the black alpaca. I purchased some yarn spun from his fleece.
I guess this proves the grass is always greener on the other side.
Just grazing and lazing on the beautiful sunny day.
Amazing Graze have farm days and an open house 3 or 4 times a year. If you have never had the chance to visit alpacas you should see if there is a farm near you or if you are in my area stop by and visit the farm in Stirling. If you can’t visit in person, be sure to check out the website where you can see photos and lots of info on these animals.
Out and About shares more places to visit.
