The Honeysuckle as September Begins

September has arrived and it is time to check in with the tree following at Lucy’s blog.  The Summer season is starting to come to a close and Autumn is creeping in with a few tell tale signs.

The shrub grew well since the big trim back at the beginning of spring.

The shrub is still chock a block full of leaves, but they will be falling soon.

The birds enjoyed the berries and now there is just one or two remaining.  The leaves are starting to dry out and the odd one has drifted down to the ground.

These views are from the back (left), front (top right) and a bit closer showing all the leaves (bottom right).  The old wheelbarrow has filled right in.  The tipsy buckets have bloomed really well all season.  My clay pot lighthouse gives off a nice little light now the evenings are getting darker earlier.

These small images show the honeysuckle garden area since I’ve been following this tree.  You can read about the previous updates by clicking each link under the images.
