The purples are partying in the front gardens … purple hosta, purple coneflower, purple lavender, purple alliums, purple liatris and a bit more. These are north faint gardens and the far left side is in shade all day long.
I have finally got the mulch down in the front diamond garden and now I’m working on the rest of the front garden. This area gets sun all day long as it is away from the house. The area with the tipsy pots gets early morning sun and mid to late afternoon sun.
The torenia in the tipsy pots is doing really well this year. All the clumps of purple coneflower have multiple blooms.
Even the money plant seed pods have a purple tint to them.
The liatris attracts lots of bees.
I find it amazing that the hosta have different patterned and coloured leaves, yet they all have the same blooms.
The lavender is beginning to fade but still gives a glorious scent when you brush against it.
The big pot of coleus has lots of purple tinges to it.
The drumstick allium is in full bloom now.
