The Leaves are Drifting Down

Another month has sped by and it is time to catch up on the honeysuckle shrub that I’m following for this year.  On a damp, chilly weekend I got out in the garden to take some photos to document the change.  The next month will have the most dramatic changes.

The leaves are full of brown spots and holes … no pretty reds or oranges for this shrub.

The leaves are drifting down with the slightest breeze, and soon they will be all gone.  There have actually been more but they got raked up before the rainy weekend.

The plants in the tipsy buckets are on their last days.  I’m thinking of adding some greenery to the bucket this year for some winter interest.  The clay pot lighthouse sat on the wheelbarrow but it has been moved into the garage for the winter.  Ice, snow, freeze and thaw will damage the clay pots if left outside.

These small images show the honeysuckle garden area since I’ve been following this shrub.
