With the print friendly option you can choose how much or how little you want to print, just mouse over the text for the option to delete. Images can be included or not. There are two recipes on this page, you can choose to print both of them together or individually.
chopped turkey, about a soup bowl full
cubed 6 medium potatoes,
2 diced stalks of celery
2 carrot diced
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup frozen green beans
1/4 cup pot barley
8 cups water
2 stock cubes
Bisto quick chicken gravy
seasoning to taste
Chop all the ingredients and add to the water in a large pot.
Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down to simmer until the veggies are soft.
Make up a cup of the Bisto gravy and add to the water and veggies.
Cool and divide into individual portions to freeze.
Turkey and Potatoes
-about 400 grams of cut up turkey (more or less)
-half cup of frozen peas
-half cup of frozen beans
-600 grams of mashed potatoes
-mushrooms are optional
Boil the potatoes, drain and mash with some milk and butter.
Mix the turkey and vegetables in a bowl and stir in the turkey gravy. I use quick Bisto chicken gravy, about 1 cup.
Divide the mixture between the 4 individual serving foil dishes.
Divide the mashed potatoes between the 4 foil dishes.
Pop the lid on and label it then store in the freezer.
